Infrared lamp, also called infrared heating lamp. It's made by sticking a tungsten wire into an inflated quartz tube. The tungsten wire heats up under AC voltage and heats the gas in the quartz tube, resulting in infrared radiation. Quartz near infrared, far infrared lamp using transparent or translucent quartz glass as the lamp shell can produce near infrared or far infrared radiation lines.
